Since 2002, Muskan Sansthan has been operating Mahavir Gaushala, a sanctuary for abandoned cows (Gau Mata), where their daily needs are lovingly taken care of. The gaushala was established with the purpose of rescuing and providing shelter to cows that might otherwise be sent to slaughterhouses. At Mahavir Gaushala, we ensure that these sacred animals receive proper nourishment, medical care, and a peaceful environment to live out their lives with dignity.
Currently, we have over 100 cows residing in the gaushala, where they are protected and cared for. Muskan Sansthan’s goal is not only to save these cows from harmful fates but also to promote the welfare and reverence of cows in our community. Through Mahavir Gaushala, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of protecting *Gau Mata* and upholding their revered place in society.
By providing a safe and nurturing home for abandoned cows, Muskan Sansthan ensures they are no longer at risk of being mistreated or sold to butchery. Our commitment to cow protection is deeply rooted in our belief in compassion and non-violence, and Mahavir Gaushala is a testament to our ongoing efforts to safeguard these gentle beings.
